This site is a tribute to Simon Berry. He is much loved and will always be remembered.
Passed away peacefully after a long battle with pancreatic cancer in the Macmillan Unit of the Royal Derby Hospital on Friday 23rd June 2023.
Beloved husband to Sarah, Father to Harvey and Molly, stepfather to Charlotte, Daniel and Sam. Son to Gillian and the late William Berry, brother to Catherine, uncle to Holly, Amy and Charlie and grandfather to Oscar.
Funeral service to be held at Markeaton Crematorium Main Chapel on Tuesday 18th July at 10.00am and afterwards at Spondon Liberal Club. For all attending the service there is no dress code Simons wish was for everyone to wear bright colours. No flowers, instead a donation to Pancreatic Cancer UK will be available at the service.

Very sad. Simon, you were a good friend at school and a team-mate: football, cricket . . . I can imagine you strolling around up there now knocking clever passes from the back, Bill shouting encouragement. A lovely, unassuming, modest lad. Funny the things you remember . . . something came to me during Wimbledon last week that terrible doubles partnership with Kevin Sims we all called 'the dobbers'. Hope you're in peace.
